Jurong Bird Park was one of the places that I really liked during my first visit to Singapore back in December 2013. So many birds to watch and even feed like this one!
This toucan was my favorite of all the birds that I saw that day. The name of this bird, distant relative to a woodpecker, is derived from tukana which is a Tupian word spoken by the natives in Brazil. Yes, it is from South America and is not indigenous to South East Asia.
